The chocolate maker Voisin, the chocolate tradition in Lyon

The company was founded in Lyon in 1897 by the chocolate maker Léon Voisin, who used his extensive knowledge of the tea and coffee market to start his chocolate business.

Today, the brand offers more than 60 of the finest 100% pure cocoa butter chocolates, sugared almonds, tea and coffee.

Most of the production is carried out in a traditional way. Léon Voisin knows how to surround himself with right people and has Paul Barral as Head of Production and Joseph Boucaud as Director.

The Voisin company is still family-owned and the 4th generation Boucaud family is in charge of its future.

This chocolate factory is known for its "coussin de Lyon", a cushion-shaped specialty named after the silk cushions of Lyon, made of ganache and marzipan.

This brand has 15 stores in France (including Lyon, Grenoble and Paris).
