Jean-Philippe Darcis has been passionate about chocolate and fine pastries since he was very young and opened his first shop at the age of 25 in Verviers.
Trained by the greatest chocolate makers, such as Lenôtre, Wittamer and Belouet, this young chocolatier soon made a name for himself with his delicious creations. Jean-Philippe Darcis's macaroons and ganaches are part of his specialties.
He won many awards since his beginnings, such as the International Belgian Chocolate Prize, the Lifetime Belgian Chocolate Ambassador and the Gold Medal for the best chocolate piece in 2002 in Las Vegas.
